Counselling and psychotherapy are general terms for therapeutic approaches that help people get a better understanding of their feelings, experiences and behaviours.

 

There are different approaches to counselling and psychotherapy, although the purpose remains the same – to explore one’s internal feelings and experiences in life to help alleviate emotional suffering and difficulties.
